A public technology university in Durban, Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa is known as the Kwazulu-Natal University of Technology (KUT). By combining the Class of systems Natal and the ML Sultan Technikon, it was created in 2002. KUT’s six faculties, which include the Faculty of Applied Sciences, the Faculty of Arts and Design, the Faculty of Engineering and the Built Environment, the Faculty of Health Sciences, the Faculty of Management Sciences, and the Faculty of Science and Agriculture, offer a variety of undergraduate and graduate programs. Admission to programs at the KwaZulu-Natal University of Technology (KUT) is decided by a points-based method. Depending on the program’s demand, the number of openings, and the applicants’ academic standing, different cut-off points apply to different programs. The minimum requirements for admission to KUT typically vary from 22 to 30 points.
To calculate the admission points, KUT considers the following:
- National Senior Certificate (NSC) or equivalent qualification results
- Performance in key subjects required for the program of study
