Many beautiful Victorian and Edwardian structures can be seen around the city, which has a rich architectural past. The city is where the former University of Natal and its predecessor were founded. In the general fields of Science and Agriculture, Education, Law, and Human and Management Sciences, the campus offers a wide range of cutting-edge academic programs that have been successful in meeting local and provincial needs.
